【明报专讯】Bill : MoMo, have you heard about the new haunted house that opened up in town?

MoMo : Oh, I have! But I heard it's best to keep away from it. They say it's really spooky (阴森可怕) inside.

Bill : Yeah, I heard the same. Let's just keep off the topic of haunted houses; I'm not a fan of scary stuff.

MoMo : Alright. So, how's your new tutorial class going?

Bill : It's good, thanks for asking. I'm trying to keep up with the classwork, but it's quite challenging.

MoMo : Did you get along with your new classmate?

Bill : Yes, but some of the them keep on talking some trivial things when they have spare time.

MoMo : Well, dealing with small talk can be a part of school life. It's good to connect with your classmate, even if the topics are trivial. Maybe you can steer the conversation towards more meaningful discussions when you get the chance.
